     随着汉语国际传播的不断发展,高校国际汉语领域近年来在教学与研究方面取得了令人瞩目的成绩。为此,英国汉语教学研究会联合南安普顿大学孔子学院将于2017 年6月28-30日举办“国际汉语教学: 从语言政策制定到课堂教学实践”为主题的高校国际汉语教学研讨会,暨第十五届英国汉语教学研究会年会。

     南安普顿大学于2011年与厦门大学联手创立了南安普顿大学孔子学院。 该孔院的长远定位是面向从小学到大学的各年龄段学习者,创造并提供全方位学习与了解当代中国的契机,包括对中文语言与文化的探索与学习。

    2017年,英国汉语教学研究会将迎来20周年庆典。本研究会与南安普顿大学孔子学院诚邀世界各地的汉语教学与研究的专家学者相聚一堂, 共同探讨汉语本体研究和国际汉语教学的诸多议题。相信此次会议的召开将进一步推动汉语教学在全球范围的发展。

    一、会议主题与议题

    主题:国际汉语教学:从语言政策制定到课堂教学实践

    • 各地区中文语言政策

    • 汉语本体与汉语习得研究

    • 汉字、拼音和语法教学与研究

    • 教研结合的汉语听、说、读、写教学

    • 测试、评估与标准的实践与研究

    • 专门用途汉语的实践与研究(如商务汉语教学)

    • 汉语教材的设计、编写与开发

    • 文化教学内容在语言课上的融合

    • 国际汉语教育本科和研究生培养

    • 新媒体时代的国际汉语教学(如慕课在国际汉语教学中的应用)

    • 高校英汉口笔译教学与研究

    二、会议规模与主旨发言

    约150 人,分别在主会场主旨发言和分会场小组发言。

    四、会议摘要与论文

    论文摘要可用中文或英文撰写,请包括400 汉字或260 英文的摘要正文和3-5 个关键词及作者姓名、任职机构和电子邮箱。需邀请函者请在邮件中注明。小组发言时间为每篇论文20 分钟,其中包括5 分钟的问答与讨论。

“Teaching and Learning Chinese in Global Context:

from Language Policy to Classroom Practice”


The 15th BCLTS International Conference

on Teaching and Learning Chinese in Higher Education

The British Chinese Language Teaching Society (BCLTS) is very pleased to announce that the 15th BCLTS International Conference with the theme of “Teaching and Learning Chinese in Global Context: from Language Policy to Classroom Practice”, will be held at the Confucius Institute, Southampton University between Wednesday 28th June and Friday 30th June 2017.


The Confucius Institute (CI) at the University of Southampton was formally opened in October 2011 in collaboration with our Chinese partners at Xiamen University, P.R. China. Their long term aim is to establish and support the provision of opportunities to study of all aspects of modern China, including language and culture, from primary school through to university level.


As a golden opportunity to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the BCLTS, we warmly welcome local and international scholars and professionals to exchange their cutting-edge research and practical teaching experiences in Teaching Chinese in Higher Education.


Topics of presentation

• Chinese language policies across different regions

• Studies on the Chinese linguistics and Chinese language acquisition

• Teaching and research on Chinese characters, Pinyin and grammar

• Research-informed teaching practice in listening, reading, speaking and writing

• Assessment, evaluation and standards

• Teaching Chinese for Specific-purposes (e.g. Business Chinese)

• Teaching material development

• Integration of culture into language class

• Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign   Language

• Technology-mediated Chinese Provision (e.g. MOOC)

• Teaching and research on Chinese translation and interpreting


Abstract submission

• Title of the paper

• Full name and affiliation of the author(s)

• An abstract of approximately 260 words in English or 400 characters in Chinese

• The corresponding author’s e-mail address. Please keep us noted if you need an invitation letter.

The working languages of the conference will be English and Chinese. Individual papers will be given 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation plus 5 minutes discussion) if accepted.


Full paper submission will be invited after the conference to be peer reviewed and published in due course.


Important dates

• 31st Mar, 2017: Deadline for abstract submission

• 21st Apr, 2017: Notification of results and issue of the invitation letter if necessary

• 31th May, 2017: Registration deadline


Conference fees

• Registration fees £100 for non-member delegates

• £50 for graduate students (Please supply proofs of graduate student status)

• Free registration for the BCLTS members

• Accommodation and travel expenses will be self-funded for non-members

• £20 for Conference dinner (optional)
